about me
My name is Michelle Shen, and I'm an undergraduate freshman studying Human Technology Interaction at USC's Iovine and Young Academy. As a designer and developer, I'm greatly interested in exploring the product manager space. Moreover, my civic-oriented passions also fuel my interest in civic-technology and creating a positive impact on the world with tech.

My chinese name is 沈敬甯, which was a big inspiration for my logo. The '宀' character represents a roof or ceiling, and by being under a '心' or heart, it represents carrying a big heart. I took apart the last character 甯 to create a heart symbol that makes a silly face, which represents my character and values. The heart also is similar to the shape of a chinese peach, which I based the theme of the website off of.
